I have always been fascinated with old movies, photos and toys so I figured why not combine them in one medium. Browsing through the net, I found some amazing black and white photos so I thought I would try to replicate them as far as my amature skill is concerned. I don’t know, there something simple and elegant with black and white photos for me. So I took some figures in my personal collection and took a chance for the July black and white photos.
I think toy or statue collecting goes hand in hand with photography. It doesn’t have to be professional level or not even for share, it’s just that it’s fun to do!
Of course Batman will not be absent in my test photos. This is DC Collectibles Batman Black and White by Ivan Reis. I really like this statue as I’m a fan of Ivan Reis as it is, but I love how looks like battle ready and the flow of the cape is amazing!
Next is Deadpool, with the recent movie catapulting him to superstardom. This figure is made by Kotobukiya for the ARTFX+ Marvel Now Line. He stands at 1/10th scale and looks awesome with his battle stance.
Last but not the least, Kotobukiya Lady Deadpool Bishoujo Statue, she stands at 1/7th scale and has a replaceable head and hand. I didn’t shoot her with her extra head as I think she has a very charming face.
Hope you like the photos! What do you do with your statue and toys collection?
